“What a magical and incredible journey. I can’t thank enough my cast, crew, team, family, and absolutely everyone who came to see the show. The Little Mermaid has been my movie since I was the youngest little girl. Ariel is everything I love about Disney: magic, adventure, joy, youth and hope. She is so pure and yet so capable – so ready to chase her dreams and create her happy ending – and she does so with such drive, such determination, and still such beautiful naivety and enchantment with all she sees. She has always been my princess. And now she is always a part of me, as I have truly been a part of her world. What little girl doesn’t want to grow up to be a Disney Princess? And thanks to all of you – I did. And a mermaid! And just the happiest girl in the world! So much love. So much joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart – and from that of the little girl who has waited all these years to live her dream.”
